ClipStitch was born because I (hi!, I'm John) wanted an easy way to combine video files, regardless of which operating system I was using.

In my spare time I play the occasional video game, and when something cool or funny happens, I take a clip to share in a group chat. (I use AMD's software to do this, but you can do it with the Nvidia app, too.)

I wanted an easy way to combine clips that happened sequentially, so I put together this website to combine video files quickly, easily, and in a way that preserves your privacy.

Hand-coded ⌨️

I coded ClipStitch by hand rather than using an LLM like Claude or Co-pilot. I enjoy writing code, and I don't want LLMs to have all the fun.
